Summer Theater Camps 2026

The Marquis Youth Theater is thrilled to collaborate once more with In the Mitten Productions for our Summer Theater Camps! We are dedicated to providing a fun, welcoming, and safe environment with inspiring experiences in theater and the performing arts for all participants. Our summer camps are designed to keep your aspiring actor entertained while working on their skills and confidence. Camps will take place at the Historic Marquis Theater Northville.

All performers should bring a water bottle, snacks, lunch and comfortable shoes they can dance in. *Please no nuts.

A small production will be performed on the last day of camp.

2026 Summer Camps Offerings

All Things Wicked and Hamilton Camp:
June 22nd - 26th 9am - 2pm

This high-energy and fun-filled theatre camp dives into the worlds of Wicked and Hamilton, exploring the music, history, movement, and storytelling that make both shows iconic. Campers sing, move, and perform inspired material while building confidence, creativity, and performance skills in a fun, ensemble-driven environment that celebrates bold choices and big talent.

Open to grades 3rd - 12th.

Seasons of Love Cabaret:
June 29th - July 2nd 9am - 2pm

Musical Theatre should be enjoyed year round- so we want to celebrate all the Broadway songs that speak to the seasons. Campers will spend the week playing theatre games, perfecting choreography and learning to sing seasonal songs from well known Broadway classics like Carousel, Damn Yankees, and The Secret Garden; as well more modern favorites such as Rent, Frozen, Anastasia and American Idiot. Join us as we pack a whole year of seasonal showtunes into one week of fun. We will end our week with a cabaret performance for friends and family.

Improv and AdLib Camp:

July 13th - 17th 9am - 1pm

creativity, quick thinking, and teamwork. Campers learn the fundamentals of improvisation and adlib through games, exercises, and scene work that build confidence, listening skills, and spontaneity, all while embracing the fun of making it up in the moment in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Actors at the Ready Scenes and Solos Camp:
July 27th - 31st 9am - 2pm

Actors at the Ready is a focused, skill-building theatre camp designed to help campers become stronger, more confident performers through scene and song work. Participants explore acting techniques, vocal performance, and storytelling while practicing how to prepare, rehearse, and perform with intention, giving every camper the tools they need to step onstage ready to shine. If your camper is looking to strengthen their theatre skills this is the camp to attend!

Musical Intensive Marquis Camp:
August 3rd - 7th & August 10th - 14th 9am - 2pm

An exciting two-week musical theatre intensive. The show is TBD. Students

in grades 3rd–12th will sing, act, and move their way through this powerful story, building skills in vocal performance, acting, and choreography. We will

end our two weeks with a full performance on the beautiful Marquis stage for friends and family.
